Proteus Protective Services has nurtured an excellent relationship with our law enforcement partners and were viewed as a force multiplier for our local Sheriff’s Offices.  We deploy with the Sheriff’s office on our properties to aggressively remedy common issues such as drugs, guns, trafficking, prostitution and violence.  We address vagrants, homeless, pan handlers, with empathy but resolve.  We represent our properties with the Public Nuisance Abatement Board and have an excellent reputation of resolving the issues that led the property to being added to the PNA list. 

 

We handle everything from noise complaints. domestic disputes, neighbor disputes all the way to welfare checks and deceased individuals with everything in-between.  In Jacksonville, we offer routine patrols and emergency rapid response.  Our average response times are under 15 minutes within the city.  We are a respond and resolve agency, not your typical observe and call law enforcement. This is a major factor for our success and client satisfaction!

 

We work hand-in-hand with our law enforcement partners on deployments and special needs.  We have a disaster response team and have invested in equipment designed to support any disaster.  Our Incident Command & Disaster Relief Trailer is outfitted with state of the art communications, internet, computers, conference TV's and camera systems.  It is outfitted with internet utilizing redundancies such as satellite internet for when cellular is out.  Our IC&DRT is climate controlled and can be converted into a conference room with executive sized meeting table & whiteboards for inter-agency coordination or into sleeping accommodations to self sustain our on scene security personnel.  We roll with emergency supplies including water, generators, tarps, tents, search & rescue tools, security deployment resources, medical supplies and more.

 

Our team has advanced training through the Proteus Training Institute DS3300039 based in Orange Park Florida.  Here, we receive law enforcement / military grade instruction in advanced tactics such as “situational awareness”, de-escalation, CQB, active shooter, patrol officer survival, basic first aid, “stop the bleed”, CPR/AED and more with training from former Green Beret instructors. Our instructors travel to our other states to support development of our officers.

 

Our officers are from all walks of private and public service life including active/retired military, active/retired law enforcement/corrections, fire fighters, & EMT/Paramedics.  Our officers are taught the appropriate disciplines to be the best at what we do and this is why we have such a strong presence in our community and with our law enforcement partners.  We have the capability to address all of your needs and the experience to make our solutions, stick!
